As a Research Director at Lux Research, Jon leads the Digital Transformation research program, helping clients make informed decisions on a range of emerging technology areas such as IoT, sensors, autonomous vehicles, communication protocols, smart cities and buildings, artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, and connected devices. Prior to taking on this role, Jon worked in a range of Lux Research groups ranging from Food, Health, and Wellness to Electronic User Interfaces. Prior to joining Lux Research, Jon was a National Institute of Health (NIH) postdoctoral fellow at MIT where he studied electrochemical processes. Jon holds a Ph.D. with distinction, M.Phil and M.A. in chemistry from Columbia University and a B.S. with honors in chemistry from Syracuse University. He has authored 17 peer-reviewed scientific articles on a wide range of technology areas including solar energy storage and mercury remediation.
